MEN’S LAKE LEAGUE GOLF PLAY 2018
Stableford Quota Point.
Quota point system determined by taking each participants club handicap index applied to the local course for a resulting handicap which is subtracted from 36. (Ex. Hdcp of 10 subtracted from 36 = 26 quota points are needed by that player) Pts awarded—Bogey 1, Par 2, Bird 3, Eagle 4.
Each team (made up of a player from 4 different clubs using an A-B-C-D FORMAT) quota will be the sum of each players point quota. If there is a participant with a handicap of 36 or more, they will be given a quota of 3 points minimum. The winning team will be the team with the most points over quota or least points under if no team quotas are made.
Beginning in 2018 we will add 2 closest to the pin opportunities, 2 individual opportunities for most points over quota, in addition to the usual
Team payouts for each monthly play.
Cost
Each club will charge $37.00 per player to include greens fee, carts, box lunch or light buffet. In addition there will be a $5 (cash) prize pool for the day. This will be collected separately.
Play Dates
League play for year 2018 will begin in May and be monthly thru October per the accompanying schedule and individual club information. Dates selected are usually the 3rd. Wednesday of the month. A 9:30 shotgun is intended, however the host club may revise if necessary and adequate notice can be given
Club Responsibility>Each club will be responsible to see that the team roster (a maximum of 18) for the approaching play day is faxed or emailed to the host club by Friday noon before the next Weds play. In addition the host club will make up the 3-4-somes for the play at their course along with cart assignments and appropriate scorecards to include points required per player.
Age 70 Play up Rule (Revised for 2015+)
Can Choose to move up to Forward Tees as Time of Signup
